Whomever he came in contact with, he touched their lives in such a positive way, and he will truly be missed. Brother Preston was a truly genuine soul. He was a ray of sunshine in many, many people’s lives. He was a very easy-going, easy-to-please man. He was kind, compassionate, encouraging, and uplifting. Brother Preston was an amazing father, grandfather, and brother. He was an active member of Life United Pentecostal Church for over 10 years, where he was truly loved. Early on, Brother Preston devoted his life to Christ and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. In April of 2000, Brother Preston moved to Hinesville, Georgia, where he spent the rest of his days. He began his career at Sunland and later moved on to construction work. His love and passion for sports drove him to play on the school’s basketball team, where he was a star player.
